Adam Witty is the Founder and CEO of Forbes Books, the book publishing brand of Forbes Media, publisher of Forbes Magazine. What began in the spare bedroom of his home is now one of the most respected independent business book publishers in the world with 2,000+ authors in 44 U.S. states and 14 countries. Founded in 2005, Advantage Media – The Authority Company, which also publishes under namesake Advantage Books, provides authority-building and authority management services for CEOs, entrepreneurs, and leaders, which include earned, owned, and rented media.
Adam was named to the prestigious Inc. 30 Under 30 list of America’s Coolest Entrepreneurs in 2011. Advantage Media has been named to the Inc. 500/5000 list for six of the past eight years. Adam is the author of six books and has appeared in the USA Today, Investor’s Business Daily, Wall Street Journal, and on ABC and FOX. Adam is a leading expert globally on “Authority” and co-authored the best-selling books The Authority Advantage and Authority Marketing. Adam’s book, Book the Business: How to Make Big Money With Your Book Without Even Selling a Single Copy, was co-authored with marketing legend Dan Kennedy. Adam’s book Relentless Implementation was co-authored with Alan Mulally, retired CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes and Ford Motor Company.
Adam is the Publisher of Forbes Books Review Magazine. Adam is an Eagle Scout, member of EO, YPO, and past Board Chair of Clemson University’s Spiro Entrepreneurship Institute and non-profit Youth Entrepreneurship South Carolina. When not helping leaders build and manage their authority, Adam enjoys working on his boutique hospitality business, Trouvaille Collection, which owns and operates boutique hotels in the southeastern United States.
