Hire a sales team only if you have the right marketing team to generate quality leads. And in many markets, marketing can generate revenue directly. That’s why marketing teams are earning commissions. In more complex B2B markets where the customer wants to talk to a person, yes, hire a sales team. In general, if you want to increase sales, increase the size of your sales team.
