Roman Stupka

Roman started his business career in 1984 and collected a significant amount of experience from different roles and industries. After the Velvet Revolution in 1990 he co-founded a private joint venture with a German trading company, and went on to hold CEO and board-level roles at Bristol-Myers Squibb CZ+SR, Česká pojišťovna, Český Telecom and Ericsson.

From 2010 he moved into hands-on manufacturing as crisis manager and CEO across three turnarounds — large-format printers, consumer electronics, and doors and windows production.

He started using the management tools of the Rockefeller Habits after meeting Verne Harnish at Verne’s workshop in Prague in 2011, and launched his coaching practice with one focus: helping good companies to grow, not bad ones to survive. Since autumn 2014 he has coached SME businesses across the Czech and Slovak regions.

Roman holds a degree in Economics, an MBA from Katz (University of Pittsburgh), courses from Harvard, INSEAD, London Business School and Columbia, and formal individual and team coaching certification from QED.
